Knitting scarves is its own reward. Not only does it help to fulfil my dream of being as dramatic as Mrs Weasley (while being embarrassing and also very helpful), the whole scarf is a canvas for a multitude of patterns and designs. Scarves are also quite useful, one of those necessary items for the winter months and a rather unmissable statement piece. The benefit, of course, of buying a hand-knit scarf, especially a commissioned patterned scarf, is that it is inherently unique. As of March 2016, I’ve established a commission price chart for these hand-knit fair isle scarves. These prices apply for scarves and snoods that are limited to 3 different colours.
Acrylic commissioned scarf that is approximately 1.9m-2m: £30
Acrylic commissioned snood that is approximately 0.7-0.8m: £15
Wool commissioned scarf that is approximately 1.9m-2m: £50
Wool commissioned snood that is approximately 0.7-0.8m: £25

Scarves take approximately 2-4 weeks to complete! Commission early so as to not be disappointed. At the moment, I knit a scarf a month, or two snoods.
I also knit Harry Potter-inspired scarves for fixed prices which will be on Etsy as they are made!
